Karina Nguyen

Karina Nguyen is an applied artist and a researcher focused on computer vision, human rights, and human-computer interaction. She is currently an undergraduate at University of California, Berkeley studying data science, sustainable design, and public policy (formerly architecture major). Her practice involves building tools, conducting visual forensics in contexts of war crimes and crimes against humanity both for journalistic stories and litigation, working with GIS and satellite imagery analysis, visualizing and mapping critical data, experimenting with computer vision methods for visual reconstructions, creating art projects, and more.
